In-Office Procedures
In the majority of cases, our Philadelphia plastic surgeon performs aesthetic surgeries at accredited facilities. With that in mind, Dr. DiBello also offers a few less invasive options in-office; for these treatments, he can administer local rather than general anesthesia. In-office procedures can be ideal for patients who are uninterested in or ineligible for a more in-depth surgery, or whose cosmetic goals are better suited for a less invasive procedure.
Which Procedures Can Be Performed In-Office?
- Upper Blepharoplasty
- Lateral Brow Lift (“One-stitch brow lift”)*
- Modified Mini Facelift (“One-stitch facelift”)*
- Mini Neck Lift (“One-stitch neck lift”)*
- Facial Fat Transfer
- Earlobe Repair/Reduction
- Umbilicoplasty
- Mini Liposuction
Upper Blepharoplasty
Upper blepharoplasty can address excess skin, fat, or drooping above the eyelids – effects that can give the face a tired or aged appearance. Using carefully placed incisions within the natural eyelid crease, Dr. DiBello can remove or reposition tissue to restore a more youthful, refreshed look. In many cases, the procedure can also improve peripheral vision by reducing hooding of the upper eyelids. The result is generally a more open and alert expression that looks natural and never “overdone.”
Lateral Brow Lift
The lateral brow lift is designed to target the outer portion of the brow, elevate a drooping or flattened brow tail, and restore a more youthful arch. Often ideal for patients with early or less pronounced signs of aging, this approach involves small incisions placed within the hairline near the temples. This lift can provide a subtle yet dramatic improvement, and is frequently combined with upper blepharoplasty for more comprehensive upper-face rejuvenation.
Modified Mini Facelift
A modified mini facelift can benefit patients experiencing early to moderate signs of facial aging. To perform this technique, Dr. DiBello uses smaller, precise incisions and focuses on tightening the cheek area to rejuvenate your lower face. This strategy can be an excellent option for those who desire targeted conservative enhancement without the scope of a traditional full facelift.
Mini Neck Lift
A mini neck lift can provide a concentrated solution for mild to moderate signs of neck aging. This method usually involves one incision behind the posterior ear, which allows Dr. DiBello to tighten the posterior neck contours and redefine the lower face. Because the treatment is targeted and less extensive than a full neck lift, it is often suited for patients who are beginning to notice changes and want improvement without the scale of a major operation.
Facial Fat Transfer
Also called “fat grafting” or “fat injections,” facial fat transfer uses the patient’s own fat to restore volume and smooth out signs of aging. Excess fat is gently harvested via liposuction from a donor site (such as the thighs or abdomen), processed into microfat or nanofat, and then skillfully re‑injected into the face. Not only can this method offer longer‑lasting enhancement than traditional fillers, but it also provides the bonus of subtle body contouring from the donor site. Depending on the extent of the fat being removed and re-injected, Dr. DiBello can sometimes perform facial fat transfer in-office.
Earlobe Repair/Reduction
Overly large, torn, or sagging earlobes can sometimes be corrected in the comfort of our office. Whether due to gauging, heavy earrings, aging, or birth‑related size issues, Dr. DiBello offers tailored earlobe repair and reduction to restore a natural shape, improve balance, and eliminate distracting features. Earlobe repair can provide both cosmetic and functional advantages, allowing you to feel more confident in the appearance of your ears and overall facial harmony.
Umbilicoplasty
Sometimes administered alongside tummy tuck surgery, umbilicoplasty (or “belly button surgery”) aims to enhance the appearance of the navel. While umbilicoplasty can be coordinated with umbilical hernia repair, Dr. DiBello typically uses the technique to address aesthetic concerns such as wrinkling, excess skin, and scarring. In such cases, he can often perform umbilicoplasty in-office under local anesthesia.
Mini Liposuction
Mini liposuction targets small, localized pockets of stubborn fat using the standard tumescent technique. This streamlined version of his full liposuction procedure can allow precise contouring in areas like the chin, jowls, knees, or flanks, without the scale of a traditional multi‑area session. By focusing on these discreet zones, Dr. DiBello can use mini liposuction to deliver focused sculpting while aligning with a less‑invasive treatment strategy.
While the above procedures can usually be performed in our office, the specifics of each
surgery will vary based on individual needs. To learn more or schedule a consultation, do not hesitate to reach out to Dr. DiBello.
